While Kim Kardashian was getting very concerned about the amount of weight that she put on when carrying baby North, the rest of the world was still speculating that before the “baby weight” the reality TV star had gotten plastic surgery on her butt. But, it seems that she did not have implants placed in her buttocks, just transferred fat from liposuction at least according to her ex, who also said that she had a boob job.

The rumour has always been that the 32 year-old television personality had butt implants and it seems that the rumours were close, but no cigar. According to a recent report, the new mother was “surgically” enhanced, just not with implants.

Back in 2011, Kim had an x-ray of her buttocks done in front of the cameras for the reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians season 6, episode 3. She laid on her side in the family doctor’s office with her posterior in position.

The reality TV star decided to have the scan done to show that her buttocks had no implants in them as was speculated by several celebrity blogs. She said before the scan, “Today I am gong to have a butt x-ray to prove to the world it’s real. This is a really crazy request but my sisters have dared me to get an ass x-ray because of all the rumours it’s not real. If I were to have a fake ass, wouldn’t it be dimple free?”

It was Khloe Kardashian who came up with the butt x-ray idea and Kim was ecstatic when no implants were visible. To prove the point, an X-ray of Kourtney Kardashian’s breasts were taken and the implants were clearly seen.

So the score in 2011 was Kim Kardashian 1 – Rumour Mill 0. She was able to “prove” that she had not partaken in plastic surgery, although she did not mention either the boob job or the liposuction that her ex revealed later.

Zoom ahead to 2013 and a source has come forward to speak to the editors of Life & Style who are publishing a magazine called, appropriately enough, The Making of Kim Kardashian. The source revealed that, “Kim had lipo on her legs and the doctor moved the fat into her butt. That¹s why it didn¹t show up on the X-ray.”

According to Kim she has not had anything artificially enhanced. In an interview on ABC’s Nightline she said, “I’m totally not against plastic surgery. I’ve tried Botox before. That’s the only thing that I’ve done.”

But Kim’s ex-husband, Damon Thomas says that is not true. He claims that she had a bit more done than Botox. He says she had a boob job, which was not x-rayed on the KUWTK show, and liposuction. He has said, “She wanted to have that lifestyle. She wanted to be what she ultimately became.”

And plastic surgeon Dr Michelle Copeland says that you can tell that her butt has been enhanced. She also said that the x-ray’s done on the reality program are not conclusive. Speaking to the magazine from Life & Style she said, “It definitely appears that Kim had her butt augmented.”

She added, “An implant has to be radio opaque to show up on an X-ray, so it’s possible she has a type of implant that would not be detected.” Like transplanted body fat for example? Kim Kardashian claims that she’s had no plastic surgery, but according to her ex-husband she’s had her boobs done and liposuction, so whichever way you look at Kim’s butt, it has apparently been enhanced.
